Hi Christopher! I am excited to learn more about your adventure through this blog page. I think it's a great idea - and it might help motivate people to donate more money! Perhaps you could put up a few pictures of Ayres Rock, Great Barrier Reef (with fish nibbling at your toes!) and the Sidney Opera house... images of where you might be visiting. I would think those images might be readily available off the web. And maybe a possible itinerary.
Count me in if you plan on a fundraiser. A spaggetti dinner with music sounds like fun to me! You should charge $50 / adult, free for kids! I could help make food for the event.
